I am Dr. Val, a Doctor of Physical Therapy with nearly two decades of clinical experience across pelvic health, neurology, orthopedics, integrative medicine, and somatic education. I work at the intersection of rigorous clinical science and the deeper intelligence of the body — because in my experience, lasting healing requires both.
I also know this terrain personally. Phase 1 — Structure: Reset Your Foundation We begin with your nervous system and the foundational architecture of your body — breath mechanics, pelvic floor coordination, spinal alignment, and core pressure management. This phase establishes the biological conditions under which everything else becomes possible. For women with pelvic floor and digestive dysfunction, this phase alone creates measurable change.
Phase 2 — Sensation: Reconnect and Restore This is where you rebuild your relationship with your body's signals. Yes — and possibly especially so. Many women come to this program having done pelvic floor PT that addressed the pelvic floor in isolation. The Vital Axis Method works with the pelvic floor as part of an interconnected system — including your nervous system, your digestive system, your spinal mechanics, and your nutrition. If you have done the work and still have symptoms, there is almost always something systemic that has not yet been addressed.

No. The program is fully accessible online. All one-on-one sessions are conducted via video, and your personalized plan and video library are delivered digitally. If you are local and interested in incorporating in-person sessions, reach out and we can discuss options.
